Hi, I'm Kylie, the owner, maker and creative mind behind Artisan & Lær, a small family-owned leathercraft business based in rural Queensland in the Whitsundays region.

Horses, country life and creating things with my hands have always been a huge part of who I am, and Artisan & Lær brings all of those passions together.

What began as a creative hobby has grown into a business creating handcrafted Western tack, leather goods and accessories for customers across Australia.

I believe there is something special about owning a piece that has been designed, cut, tooled and finished by hand. In a world of mass-produced products, my focus has always been on quality over quantity, creating practical pieces that are made to be used, enjoyed and appreciated for years to come.

My hope is that many of these pieces become part of your story too, treasured through years of use and perhaps even passed down as a cherished family heirloom.

Whether it's a bridle headed for the show ring, a custom bag, or someone attending their very first workshop, my goal is always the same: to create something meaningful, practical and built to last.

When I'm not in the workshop, you'll usually find me with my horses, teaching workshops, or dreaming up the next project to bring to life.
