At Artisan & Lær, Australia Post is our preferred postal service.

SHIPPING SCHEDULE

All orders are packed and dispatched from Calen, QLD 4798 on the following days:
Monday, Wednesday, and Friday

To ensure your order is included in the next dispatch cycle, please place your order by 2:00 PM the day prior.
Orders placed after this cut-off will be shipped on the next scheduled shipping day.

SHIPPING OPTIONS (AUSTRALIA)

SMALL ORDERS – Earrings & Small Accessories Only

Includes:

  • Tracking

  • Secure packaging

  • Full insurance cover for the physical items purchased (excluding postage costs)

  • Signature on delivery

This shipping option is strictly limited to:

  • Earrings

  • Small, lightweight accessories that fit within small/envelope-sized parcel limits

Not suitable for drinkware, leather goods, or medium-to-large items

NOTE:
If this option is selected for an ineligible item, the customer will be invoiced for:

  • The unpaid postage difference, plus

  • A non-negotiable administration fee

STANDARD Shipping

Includes:

  • Tracking

  • Secure packaging

  • Full insurance cover for the physical items purchased (excluding postage costs)

  • Signature on delivery

Suitable for:

  • Leather goods

  • Drinkware (including Yeti & sleeves)

  • Medium-sized items

Express Shipping

Includes:

  • Priority delivery

  • Tracking

  • Secure packaging

  • Full insurance cover for the physical items purchased (excluding postage costs)

  • Signature on delivery

Suitable for:
All items requiring faster delivery.

ADDITIONAL CHARGES & INVOICING

If additional fees (such as insurance, GST, or adjustments) are required, they will be invoiced separately and emailed to the email address on your online order submitted.
Orders will not be shipped until all outstanding invoices have been paid in full.

Incorrect Shipping Selection
If an incorrect shipping option is selected at checkout, the customer will be invoiced for:

  • The unpaid difference in postage, plus

  • A non-negotiable administration fee to cover the time required to rectify the error.

Please note: The administration fee applies to orders requiring manual correction and re-invoicing. This fee is non-negotiable and reflects the time spent:

  • Identifying and correcting errors

  • Communicating with you to resolve the issue

  • Issuing additional invoices

  • Reconciling payments and generating receipts

  • Following up on overdue payments where necessary

This time takes resources away from other paying customers, and we appreciate your understanding in helping us maintain a smooth and efficient order process.

INSURANCE

Postage Insurance & Liability

Please note: All Standard, Express, and Small Item postage options (including free or flat-rate shipping) include full insurance coverage for the physical items purchased, covering the full purchase value of the goods only (excluding postage costs).

This insurance is arranged by Artisan & Lær and is included in the shipping fee charged at checkout, providing coverage above and beyond Australia Post’s basic service standards.

Once your order has been lodged with Australia Post, liability for loss or damage is limited to the insured value of the goods as outlined above.

ESTIMATED DELIVERY TIMES

Delivery times provided are estimates only and may be impacted by delays outside of our control (e.g., postal network disruptions, weather events, or customs hold-ups).

For questions regarding delayed parcels, please contact Australia Post directly with your tracking information.

You will receive a shipping confirmation email once your order has been dispatched. This will include your unique Tracking ID, which you can use to monitor your parcel’s journey and estimated arrival via the Australia Post tracking app or website.

Disclaimer – Customer Information & Shipping Details

Artisan & Lær is not responsible for incorrect shipping or contact details provided at checkout.
Please ensure all postal addresses, phone numbers, and email addresses are entered accurately at the time of ordering.

If you notice an error in your submitted information, you must contact us immediately so we can attempt to correct it—provided your order has not yet been shipped.
Once an order has been dispatched, any redirection or correction must be handled directly through Australia Post by the customer.

OUTSTANDING INVOICES & ORDER FULFILMENT DISCLAIMER

By submitting an order through the Artisan & Lær website, the customer confirms that they have accurately and honestly selected the correct goods and services, including the appropriate shipping option applicable to their order.

The customer agrees to pay any outstanding or unpaid costs arising from their order, including but not limited to postage adjustments, administration fees, insurance, or other applicable charges identified after checkout.

Artisan & Lær reserves the right to withhold dispatch of any order until all outstanding invoices and balances are paid in full.

Artisan & Lær is not responsible for any lost or damaged items during shipping.

All items lost or damaged in transit are subject to Australia Post’s Terms and Conditions in relation to handling and delivery.
However, insurance coverage for the physical goods is arranged by Artisan & Lær and applies to the full purchase value of the items only (excluding postage costs), as outlined in these Shipping & Insurance Terms.

Claims and compensation are limited to the insured value of the physical goods and do not extend to postage fees, delays, or consequential losses.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS - CUSTOMS & IMPRT DUTIES

Artisan & Lær is not responsible for any customs delays, import taxes, duties, or other fees that may apply to international orders. These charges are the sole responsibility of the buyer.

We strongly recommend checking with your local customs authority prior to placing an order to ensure that our products are permitted in your region and to understand any potential import costs.
