The name Artisan & Lær is more than just a brand—it’s a reflection of my passion for leathercraft and a heartfelt tribute to my family heritage.

When I set out to name my business, I wanted something symbolic, meaningful, and rich with personal history. That vision led to the creation of Artisan & Lær.

• Artisan represents the traditional craftsmanship and skill involved in creating handmade goods.

• Lær is the Norwegian word for leather—a nod to my grandfather’s roots and a meaningful link to my family's story.

From that inspiration, the journey began. And here we are, five years later, handcrafting leather goods with care and intention from our rural property in the beautiful Whitsundays.
